This past weekend and beyond

Okay there is a little bit more to post this time, so bear with me:

This past weekend my parents came up and we took the boys to the Indy air show. The weather was great, just a wee bit warm but the breeze was nice. Everybody had a good time and seeing the planes take off and do stunts were awesome. Believe it or nor Barrett stayed in one spot for more then five minutes. However when the big jets flew over he nor Griffen appreciated the loud noise, but it was awesome to see. We got to see the F-16's and the F-18's and the new F-22 Raptor. There was also a black hawk and of course planes from world war one and up did stunts.

Also this week Barrett started his three year program at school. For now he is going on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It seems that he likes it so far they get to go outside and play and they have a snack so everything is up there with Barrett. We could not get a good picture of him on his first day, he is getting camera shy but that is okay.

Also this week Griffen had his four month check up. He weighs in at 15lbs 60z and is 24 1/2 inches. According to his chart he is a little chunky but that is okay he is just too cute. Everything is going well with him he is starting to play more with toys, he loves to watch his big brother and he is starting to eat some cereal. He can roll from stomach to back and he enjoys pulling his hair out. It looks like he has a Mohawk. But again we love him anyway our rocker baby.

This weekend is going to be another busy one as my family is heading up for Labor day weekend and we are going to have a shrimp boil. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend.

The Zoo

This past weekend my sister and her family made a trip up and we took the kids to the Indy zoo. The weather was awesome the kids behaved wonderfully and we just had a great time. We saw a dolphin show, Jada and Barrett had their first pony ride and my sister and I even touched some sharks. Jada and Barrett had a good time playing in the yard and running around, we can't wait to do it again. Of course we could not get a picture with all the kids in one shot so we made due with some individuals pictures.

We really don't have much to report, just a few fun pictures. We should be picking things up soon with the start of school and Griffens four month old appointment until then enjoy the pictures.

Grigsby Reunion

This past weekend we headed to Kentucky for the Grigsby Reunion. It was hosted again at my Uncle Johnny's and Aunt Cindy's house. As always we had some wonderful food, great visits, a few walks down memory lane and of course the water slide. That is right my aunt and uncle rented one of those big water slides for the kids. I think the kids had the most fun out of all of us because I don't seem to remember any of them coming in to eat food :) It was great seeing family and just spending time and catching up since Christmas. I can't wait to do it again next year but then again I always love food :)
