Reece Turns One and The Shocking News

This past weekend on Valentine's day Reece turned one. To honor that occasion my sister had a big blowout party at her house. She had lots of food, cake and the house was filled with people to celebrate the birthday boy. He got lots of clothes and toys and I think the favorite thing was his new drum set. If I was my sister I would buy ear plugs. When it came time for the cake Reece was a little unsure but finally he tried some and well I think the rest went on his face, hair and the floor. I think a good time was had by all.

Onto the shocking news that put our household in a fog and a state of panic. This past week Nick got a package on our door step from Uncle Sam. Inside that package was his orders to return the military, to get retrained and ship to a unit that will most likely be deploying to Iraq. How long do you ask, well most likely a little over a year. No this is not a joke, I am for real and believe me this is really happening. He Reports to Ft. Jackson on April the 5th and from there we will know more about what is going to happen and what will take place. The funny side of this is that he had four months left on his IRR before he could resign his commission. So once again please keep us in your thoughts, and prayers because this will be a trying time for all. So the for the next month we are having to scramble to get things in line, and planned before he goes. So I do apologize if the web site is not updated more often. Until then.....
