Cross those fingers!

I spoke with our real estate agent in Missouri today and the contract on our house has been signed, so our house is under contract. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that everything goes fast and smooth. We have been busy trying to get boxes unpacked and things in there places. Poor Griffen had his crib and his own closet now. Speaking of our chunky monkey, Griffen turned two months old yesterday so today we went to see the new doctor. He weighed in at 11.5 pounds and was 22 inches long. The doctor said he was right on track with everything and that he looked good.

If you have talked to us, you know how excited we are being close to family. Since moving we have made a trip to Kentucky to see family, my dad has made a trip up{but that involved a paint brush, and rearranging furniture, thanks daddy} Uncle Greg got to come visit and he went with us to Nick's company picnic. We have also had Aunt Jackie and Uncle Tom over for dinner. Barrett is getting spoiled with all the attention that he is getting.

Speaking of Barrett he will be turing the big 3 this Friday. However if you ask him he is telling everyone that he is turning 8, his favorite number. We are having a little family gathering here at our house on Saturday to honor the birthday boy. We are doing a "Lighting McQueen" theme. We are just happy that we can host something that our family can come to. In the months to come we are looking forward to more company and dinners. Since we are closer to home does anyone want to come and babysit two well behaved kids :)
